It's a genuine element. It works.
There were cheaper clone options, but I felt happier paying a bit more for what looks like the genuine article. One of the element coils seemed a bit close, almost touching, another certainly closer than my failed element. So I gave it a wee bend to separate them a bit. As for good quality and value, well it's only been just over a week since I installed it, but it has been used several times since then, and it is still working. No funny smells! Currently I would buy again, assuming it lasts more than a year or so. It seems a but churlish, but I'm not going to give it 5 stars, as how can a working element be "Amazing"!
