This Adam Hall SLS6 stand is well made, as expected, BUT not as good as my original SLS6 stand. The fitting on the legs are cheaper, and the top fitting not as well made. More disappointing are the height adjustment screws, that would not tighten sufficiently. Result: when any weight was put on the t bar it dropped down. A pair of mole grips and a screwdriver were required to 'modify' it so that it held its position. The thumb screws are also not as well made as those on the previous model. That said, it is a very good, sturdy lighting stand that does the job.....after modification.
