Seems ok
Did a leak test with 3 litres of water, standing it upright...no leak. Filled it wit 8 litres and went camping. It does leak a bit from tap unfortunately, probably due to added weight on tap seal when more than half full. But I'm not that worried about this for the the price, as I just sit the tank on its side when not using it.

Plastic Jerry can
Bought this to use in our caravan for drinking water and 1st time we used it, it leaked quite badly from around the tap, so ended up not using it, hence the 3 stars. After our trip, my husband sealed it properly and now it’s useable again.

Not user friiendly
Although the main container was good and robust, the tap was located on the narrow base end. This meant that the container had to be stood upright on the small end which didn't allow space under the tap, which also meant that unless the container was raised on a box or similar the container needed to be brought forward to clear the worktop in order to get the kettle / cup under the tap. Bringing the container that far forward makes it unstable on the worktop. It would be better if the tap was located at the bottom of the long end.

Does the job
Well made, has an auto air release, bought 3 for my marine additives, nice and clean inside, nice tight caps tap work's well, but be careful at the tap comes out easy, great for cleaning, but not good if you do it by accident and your full.
