I thought I could overcome all the doubters, but...
I needed to make a great deal of piping very quickly. I'd read the poor reviews people gave this machine in regards to its piping-making function, but I am the eternal optimist - and I was desperate. It's made by Singer, right? Just like my beautiful, functional, antique sewing machine? And I' REALLY good at following directions, and I bought all the things that weren't included (well - almost - but I dare YOU to figure out everything you need and how to get it in the UK), and my long-suffering man is an engineering genius.....so, you know where this is going. It was an awful lot of money for something that simply does NOT do the job. I may use it (once it's out of the naughty corner) to make bias tape, but I really, REALLY wish I hadn't spent the money.
