    A realistic addition to a model of an electric railway

    There are many railways in the UK (and elsewhere in the world) that use 3rd rail or 3rd and 4th rail power supply. Running model electric trains on 2-rail track without a conductor rail looks wrong. I have used these conductor rail chairs and Peco code 60 rail on my Southern Electric model railway and I am very pleased with the effect, especially with the simulated flashes at junctions. I did not use the included base washers, but this is a matter of preference. Assembling the conductor rails requires a lot of patience, but the final result is certainly worth it. I have no hesitation in recommending these chairs (or other products from Peco)
