BOOMERS boasts a cast of British comedy treasures starring as three retired couples living in Thurnemouth, 'Norfolk's only West facing resort.' While Alan (Philip Jackson) and Joyce (Alison Steadman) are at odds on how to fill their days, Trevor (James Smith) and Carol (Paula Wilcox) seem happy to avoid talking to each other altogether. Meanwhile their friends John (Russ Abbot) and Maureen (Stephanie Beacham) are trying to live the flashy commitment-free dream, despite Maureen's ever-present Mum Joan (June Whitfield) continually bringing them back down to earth. This release includes the complete series.

    What's happening about season 2

    When purchasing this video there was no mention of it being just season 1. I assumed that the video was for the whole series, which was a pity because season 2 is so much better. I've tried all the ways possible to find out if & when season 2 will be released including the Christmas special (when they all went to France on a booze cruise) but can not find any information at all..
