Excellent bit of kit.
I used a Thule 'ride on' 3 bike rack for many years, continued to do so when I purchased 2 e-bikes - till I noticed the wheel carriers were bending...... Looking around, Halfords seemed a good alternative. Arrived quickly, perfect condition. Not the best set of assembly instructions, but not the worst! All made sense, took 30 mins. Having built it, tried bikes (Recommendation is 2 e-bikes in slots nearest car) - NOPE! As usual, '3-bike' racks mean 3 kids, or narrow-barred road bikes, it's OK for 2 MTB or e-bike...... (Thule was the same). Really liked the little channel linking the wheel wells, means you can lift front, roll across rack, lift on rear (Appreciated with 23 Kg e-bikes). dropping top loop is easy, as is lifting back while holding bike with other hand, wheel ratchet straps very secure. Nice touch was the inclusion of 2 number plate clamps on the lightboard (7 pin, didn't need 13>7 adaptor) - I used d/g sealing tape in middle....... In use, rack is very stable, as are the bikes, slightly unsettling when locking the tow bar lock, as the knob turns freely, had to unlock to check was secure (It was) the lock simply disengages knob from thread! Would buy another, hope never have to, just remember you probably want '3' not '2' bike.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
