Solid tool
Solid tool The Laser level market is flooded with options but I think this one gives you best bang for your dollar and here’s why. It has an ip64 rating which is slightly better than most that at best have ip54 rating. This means it’s simply better build for water and impact resistance, and it shows. Solid build, with rubber grip molded in the right places. A nice feature that I feel is a must is a the mechanical gimbal lock. This is important for transporting the tool so that the calibration isn’t compromised. I was surprised that other competitors omitted this feature all together. Pair all that with the hard case with 4AA batteries with 2 mounting jigs, and it’s an impressive package. Of course the best features are the Green “visimax” laser for vertical, horizontal, and plumb points...also at this point other competitors didn’t even offer plumb points, nor the green laser tech. You add this Tools Plus insane refurbished price, and you get a solid $400 tool at half the price. Bosch has been building these things a long time, and it shows. ProsGreen (Visimax) laser for (4X)superior visibility over red laser for daytime use. Manual gimbal lock for transport. Ip64 water resistance and impact rating. Great build quality. Hard carry case with magnetic adjustable mounting jig and suspended ceiling jig. Batteries included. Cons-Tripod sold separately.
