About this product

Product Information

Keeping small or large birds away from your seedlings and soft fruits using this 2 metre x 10 metre Protection Net is easy. This pack of six nets gives you protection for several vegetable plots. Cut the nylon nets to the size you need, using ordinary household tools. Sunlight and rain will pass through netting holes of approximately 25 mm without any difficulties.

    Good quality netting at a great price.

    Good quality netting at a great price. Like other similar netting I've used in the past, it can be very difficult to get it to expand to its full size. It's very keen to remain as a thin rope rather than a full 1.5m-width net. I solved this by threading twine along the long edges of the netting, and then pulling this tight around the area I was covering. When the two threads are tight across both edges of the netting, it easily expands to fill the entire space. I've used this to protect my cherry tree from the birds and it's doing a great job.

    Very good.

    Strong and works well. I recommend a makeshift frame or something similar if you're going to put the netting over fruit trees as this will keep it further away from the fruit, and stop birds attempting to land on the netting for a quick bite of fruit that may poke through.

    Very Pleased

    Very Pleased with this purchase. I previously brought some a small amount of net to help protect my pond from a heron that keeps visiting. That only covers a small part of the pond, so, with autumn approaching and having a large tree in the garden i wanted to make sure I keep out as many leaves as I can. I brought this large net for a very reasonable price, and it covers both of my ponds in one go. Once all the leaves are off the trees and cleared away, I'll take this net off and just revert to having my small net in place but it's doing the job and the leaves seem to be being kept out.
