i only bought this as I can use it without having to have leads all over, I have only tried it out as its getting late in the year, but it trimmed the edge of my lawn very nicely and quickly, its very easy to use

awkward to use
I bought this trimmer for the wife but she can't use it because it is to difficult to rotate the head,into the edging mode (you need hands like a gorilla to grip and rotate) and the auto feed tends not to work when on its side overall not a very good product,no wonder they updated this model ! Great little versatile and lightweight trimmer.
This is a great little trimmer which I use for small quick jobs ( I have a heavy duty petrol trimmer for the big stuff). It is lightweight and very easy to handle. Most importantly, it does the job well. I particularly like the 180 degree head spin at the push of a button which helps get those edges very neat. Highly recommended.

Makes light work of a chore.
Does exactly what is required of it, and runs a long time on a 2Ah battery. Lightweight compared with the petrol driven strimmer it replaced. There wasn't much line supplied with it, so I bought a reel of 1.5mm strimmer cord, elsewhere on eBay.
