A cut above.......
Had a similar set of Wahl clippers years ago for my dog and they were brilliant. After having to then hone my skills during lockdown to keep my partner well groomed I decided his 'toy' clippers were useless and ordered the Wahl pro styler. Worth every penny! The colour coded guards are a great boon to finding the right size to grade the cut. It is a good chunky machine that is very comfortable to work with when using over a long period. (I had to tame the man's beard as well...) The only slight niggle I have is how hot the clippers get. But that might be because I did spend so long really trying to achieve a nice balanced cut to head and beard. Very impressed though - nice and easy and gives a brilliant cut! Said was brand new but damaged packaging
Said was brand new but damaged packaging. The packaging was damaged and all the clipper accessories were in a a sealed plastic bag but the clippers themselves had hair in and on them. Obviously used and not brand new. False advertising. Smooth, but the battery is an issue
This hair clipper/beard trimmer gives a smooth cut with no irritation, but I wish Wahl would move to using Li-ion batteries instead of NiMH that take 12 hours to charge for 1 hour of use. It's crazy that they're still using this obsolete technology in 2023. Is this product worth £37? I don't think so. I also bought their Groomsman beard trimmer in 2019 to replace an older Groomsman that I'd had since around 2013 because it stopped holding charge and had rusted. There was a noticeable drop in quality with the newer one (the blades kept snagging my beard and it left my face red and irritated). Honestly, I think I'm going to be moving away from Wahl products now as they're not worth the asking price anymore. There's much cheaper beard trimmers on the market that do a decent job and have Li-on batteries that take less than an hour to charge using a USB-C cable. Wahl obviously have no interest in getting with the times when it comes to battery technology. Either adapt or get left behind.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Reasonably easy to get used to and helpful accessories
I have never used hair clippers before, I was a ladies hairdresser in 60's and 70's and after a few nerves I cut my husbands hair quite quickly using the clippers. I was pleasantly surprised how well made they are. All the accessories are helpful, easy to change and all fit very well. Super purchase
Bought this just after Corona lockdown because I couldn’t find any hair cutters with queues less than 14 miles long to get my barnet sorted. Wish I had have bought these Wahl clippers sooner. That are the real deal. Comfortable in the hand and blades super sharp. Not sure the 1 - 8 grading combs need to be different colours but that’s not to much of an issue. The no1 is tight enough to do my beard but to be sure I had a go at my wife’s beard before I did my own. All in all, great brand, great design, very effective, rechargeable and free hairdressers bag with bits and bobs in.
