Even a scale and polish can be uncomfortable to say nothing of the dreaded dentists drill and ,as I have arthritis is my hands, I found flossing difficult and started using the short teepee brushes. They worked well for easy to reach places but ,for me, we're not easy to grip. My dentist told me about the longer handle ones and,very kindly, gave me one to try and it proved to be the answer to my flossing problem.
