JVC RM-C3179 Remote Control Unit [HDMI Unit] Genuine Item Brand New
This item was purchased brand new and I was most encouraged by the fact that it was genuine and not 'cloned' or a knock off as I commonly noticed elsewhere. The item works fine as one would presume being genuine however I would advise if your remote control stops working abruptly to consider resetting your JVC television set using the rotateable 'dial' on the rear which is located in a recess: Looking ahead at the back this is in the lower right quadrant. All you need to do is move the dial upwards to the maximum extent and press in. Your television will go off. Release. Repeat this until your television comes on again and this effectively resets the HDMI receiving capability it has too. The same dial appears to give you the opportunity to use the settings you would normally use the remote for but 'manually' and as a back up - probably in the event of this or your remote batteries running out. Anyway this item scores 10 / 10 from me and if this trick fails all I can encourage is the avoidance of any cheap 'clones' or knock offs for best results :o)Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
