    Wooden Chair Painting

I bought one of these to use with farrow and ball estate emulsion to paint some chairs. Works brilliantly! Only reason for lost star is the cleaning. The nozzle has so much torc that you haven't a hope of unscrewing to fly clean. And you do need to clean. Cleaning takes as long as painting! Tip - buy a pack of wooden skewers to poke through the nozzle. You'll be amazed at how much paint comes out. I bought a second one so must have liked it...

no good for emulsion ,even watered down!

probably ok with stain or easy flowing liquids but no good at all with emulsion

  • Surprisingly good gun for the price

Did a great job with water based acrylic primer and Farrow and Ball water based exterior eggshell, both slightly thinned. Well balanced in use and easy to adjust the spray pattern and paint volume. I've used guns costing a great deal more which performed a great deal worse!

  • Sealey spray gun

I purchased this Sealey SSG501 gravity feed 2.2mm spray gun to spray wooden chairs and wooden furniture. Great value for money, and I was really pleased with final finish which I was able to achieve with this spray gun. If you want the same results each time may I suggest you take your time and clean spray gun thoroughly through out after each use. I would certainly recommend it.

  • Fantastic bit of kit.

Could not get my suction spray gun to do my fence paint. This gun did it no problem. And cheap as chips, excellent build quality.

  • Poor quality.

Bought just to use for primer, but wish I'd spent a bit more, as this is not worth the money. Poorly finished, sharp edges and part fit is mediocre.

  • Great Value

Not what I would call good quality at all, but it is good value for money. The large, 2.2mm tip really piles it on and it copes very esily with heavy products like Upol Raptor even without thining. For the £18 that I paid, I cannot complain about it at all.
