Quite heavy for mobility. May advise 2kg for average/small females.
Looks and feels like the real deal. Good value. Positioned mine at top corner of stairs where it is handiest for retrieving wherever fire may start and not a trip hazard. Actually feels heavier than 6 bags of sugar, so before you buy make sure you're comfortable carrying this weight, otherwise I'd advise choosing a 2kg size if it's just for your home (no responsibility accepted by me!)
