Roundworm tablets accepted, Tapeworm tablets not.
My cat took the roundworm tablets mixed in with his food without difficulty. However, the tapeworm tablets were a different story. My very discerning cat, sniffed his food, looked at me in horror and refused it eat it. Adding no amount of treats such as his favourite cat yoghurt to the mixture made any difference, and he refused to eat any food at all for the next 3 days. Too expensive for 1 treatment
I expected 12 tablets would give treatment for 12 cats or 12 occasions but no it seems it's for one cat only.They may be good but the tablets I used before worked. The only problem with the other much cheaper 1 tablet treats all sorts is the cats don't like the taste. So you have to mix them in with wet food that they do like. My cat was fine.
Following the odd review referring to the negative reaction some cats 'appear' to have to these pills, all I can say is that my 14 year old female cat was perfectly fine after digesting them having put them directly down her throat. Do not buy dog had bad reaction
Warning to anybody thinking about buying these.i purchased for my pug.shes 7 years old never had any problems/illness’s with her.i gave her the pink tablet as stated and after approximately 2 hours her right eye started twitching really badly she actually looked like she was having some sort of stroke.as the days went on her eye seemed worse and worse she just stayed in her bed with her eye closed and didn’t seem herself.so after 2 or 3 days I took her the vets and she has an eye ulcer and it’s cost me £70 in vets bills.im praying the meds work and she doesn’t lose her eyeVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

Do NOT give to cats! This poisoned 2 of my cats!
This made 2 of my cats seriously ill! They were treated for toxicity after this product giving them the runs, sickness, frothing at the mouth and seizures! Between the 2 cats in have a vet bill of £590!! Both doses given were correct for the cats weight. Please please be careful when administering this. Sniffed out!!
The first pink tablets were fine... the beige tablets were sniffed out in food... as much as i tried to disguise the smell! And they are too big to give by mouth. So they didn't work as they were sniffed out! But no side effects occured from the pink ones.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
