The THUNDERWEB design is characterised by a conical shaped web which gets thicker towards the back of the drill bit. Standard drill bits have a constant thickness throughout their length. Even at the narrowest point the THUNDERWEB core is thicker than that of a standard drill bit.

Sharp and durable. Shame about the less compact case though
This is a replacement for my last set. I wish they stuck to the previous design of case that was more compact, but otherwise it is excellent. The bits are sharp and straight. I used, and abused, these for drilling into 12mm cast Iron with a hand held power drill and these managed what my other bits couldn't. The size selection is good as I've found use for every size in the box and have not been wanting. It would be good to have a milwaukee set that takes you from 10mm to 13mm. Milwaukee drill set
These drills are manufactured from a very good steel as they hold their edge whilst drilling tough materials and they are able to remove the swarf without clogging the drill in the pocket they are drilling. Even the small diameter drills are perfectly concentric and also cut very well. Even the storage case is well engineered and keeps the drills safe and ready for use. One minor point is that the small drills are hard to get out of the storage box, I use a very small pliers to get the small drills out of the case. Great piece of drills.
Very good drills at a price of some universal B&Q drills. I needed a set to drill through gate hinges when I was building my deiveway gate, so I looked for some quality drills. For little price you get these that really do the job, I needed a 6mm drill, and instead of to pay for Dormer or Würth nearly or well over £100 I got these and do not regret. why buy rubbish when the best is not a lot more.
