Amazing
These things are just brilliant, I've been struggling for years with all types of wire strippers, none really worked that well, and I'd end up using scissors! An excellent addition to my toolbox
I purchased this wire stripper after reading a number of good reviews. Being an elctronics enthusiast for many years, I have all the usual manual wire stripping tools, which although effective, took some time to alter for differen size wires. This tool makes life so much easier and quicker, and I only wish I had discovered it much earlier! It deals with small wires and larger ones, quickly and efficiently, and the only minor downside is that it cannot handle very large cooker mains cables. Hardwearing and self-adjusting.

By far the best design there is for stripping wires.
OK, so the design is not unique BUT it is by far the best design for wire strippers IMO. It does not cut some of the strands like other wire strippers and the operation is effortless. It costs maybe a little bit more but well worth the extra investment, even if you are not going to use it that often. Nice tool, works well.
It's a nice tool, seems to be well made and nicely balanced with a good feel. It strips wire well, but for very thin wires you need to fiddle with the tension otherwise it tends to just rip the wire apart rather than strip it. Also, the minimum guided stripping distance is about 1cm, so to strip less you just have to guess. There's a significant amount of force needed to pull the handles, so it's difficult to use the wire cutter blades in a controlled way, but then, you probably want a neat pair of side-cutters to do that anyway.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Don’t Hesitate buy one
These are an awesome well made bit of kit from STANLEY Perfect for cutting wire , then easily removing the sheath and finally cutting the wires to length and trimming the ends to wire . I’m sure the crimped will work as well. A totally useful practical tool
