  • Simple to use giving a professional finish

Excellent way of ensuring a neat professional finish to sealant around bath, shower, or kitchen units. Worthwhile having a practise before trying out the profiles just to make sure you get the hang of it, Do not apply a length of more than about 500mm of sealant to avoid a build up and waste of sealant..The excess sealant builds up in front of the profile and has to be wiped off (the profile) ready to start again on he next stretch of sealant. The longer the length the greater the build up and greater the waste of sealant. Good product and a wide selection of profiles. Also a useful removable gadget to pass the profile over vertical tile joints.

  • High class tool, works great.

Very good quality items, easy to use. Just need lots of paper towels handy. I Just got done caulking bath and kitchen after a remodel and my wife says it looks great. Item is a little pricey, as most quality tools are, I am not sure if a less expensive one would work as well but I am happy with the item and the results

  • Great products

Great product, easy to use and clean. I would recommend this product. One issue I found is that if you use a larger bead you will struggle around the taps, the skies that goon the tool do struggle on poor uneven tiles and prevents the bead being straight as shown in pictures.

  • A great addition to my DIY toolbox.

If, like me, you've always used one of your fingers to spread sealant, you'll be amazed at how much easier and less messy it is with this profiling kit. The kit comes with a whole range of different profile shapes, of different sizes, plus a very useful blade for removing old sealant. I wish I'd bought one of these kits ages ago. Highly recommended!

  • Tob job!

As a plumber I have been using silicone for years and never felt that I quite had the grasp of applying it correctly in bathrooms etc. Recently bought the Fugi kit after having looked at a couple of very informative privately posted you tube videos on the subject and with care a professional finish can be achieved every time. They make the job easy and do the job brilliantly. No longer need to use soapy water, fingers or any other 'trick' applications.

  • Does exactly what it says on the ad.

Having bought no end of these types of tool before I did not hold out much hope. However it was recommended on youtube and whilst the price having shopped around was still high I would wholeheartedly recommend this product. This tool works! I have no connection but I have sealed two showers very neatly and effectively.

  • Pricey; but worth it?

Very pricey but also works very well. Would be great for the professional, but for a once in awhile use, maybe not worth the expense. Carrying case could have been a bit better constructed, more durable, and more secure in the latch mechanism - for what you're spending, the case should outlast the tool. The worst is when the case wears out and the hinge cracks apart and now the parts are getting scattered and lost. Still, well made and works like a charm.

  • Great tool for the job

This kit has the tools needed to correctly seal in Bath, sink or shower tray. The removal tool is perfect for getting old sealant out. Profiling tools have several edges so you can choose the size of profile to match what you had before. Profile tools where easy to clean and put away ready for use next time. I followed a YouTube Video that help me get the best results with this kit.

  • Really good bit of kit

Applying silicone was always hit and miss, sometimes i managed to leave it looking good to the eye and othertimes not so good I would also use the washing up liquid method (which actually undermines adhesion)as this was pretty much the standard method. This bit of kit makes the job easy and professional. I recommend looking at the YouTube video as there are tips on usage but once you do one lot you will have the knack. Nice tool. Worth 15 quid.

  • A good quality precision tool for a great finish but rather expensive.

Great set of tools for getting a professional look for silicone edging and angles. Comes in a useful snap closed plastic box. Although these are precision and well made from good quality rubber. they are a bit expensive. You need to wipe the spreader tools of excess silicone as you wipe...otherwise the silicone gets everywhere: to avoid this you could use masking tape on the top and bottom of the join but that has the effect of leaving a very slight edge on the upper and lower angles when you remove it. I would like to have had a version of the red tools without the small cut-out half way along for the insertion of the black right angled wedges (to help you keep the tool at right angles to the join). If you use these red tools without the wedges the excess silicone gets into the cut-out and leaves a thin bead on the upper and or lower edges of the join.....this is rather fiddly to remove.
