I didn't believe it would work until I used it.

Brilliant for chasing out for backboxes even in brick. I didn't believe it would work until I tried it. I did six 35mm backboxes chased out in brick before the blade had it. It's much more accurate and quicker than sds. I would recomend only using it for the actual back box chase and not the cable runs as the cost won't justify the use. I think a price point of £9- £10 will make me more inclined to use this product in the future than the £15 I paid. ***Several months later now and price has gone up not down so quite disapointed.

    Partial success

I bought this item to use on my Bosch multitool. I was chasing out plaster, mortar and brick to run cable for an electric fire for my lounge fireplace. The blade cut through plaster like butter, mortar like, well mortar but the brick was hard work. I ended up cutting shallow lines and using a chisel to create the gap. Not sure how long the blade will last, not that many jobs I suspect. Multitools with this blade do reduce the dust an angle grinder would produce but no where near as effective. Plus the blade was a bit expensive. So it did do the job, but chopping out brick is hard work and a chisel has to be used to do the main work, with the tool used to cut fault lines to neaten the final cavity. Reasonably satisfied with this product.

  • Poor show 5 minute life

I bought this product to chase out some mortar between the brickwork to put in a lintel. The blade cut the mortar nicely for a few minutes only. Then most of the diamond coating on the blade was missing and I might as well have used a spoon. I would stay well clear from this item

  • Brick buster

Used twice seems good but for £15 a bit expensive not sure on reliability... hoping it will last.

  • Waste of money

We used the blades to cut some socket boxes in a 200 year old house, the blades lasted for 2 boxes each before the diamond coating wore off. really disappointed poor quality blades.

  • Does what it says

Does what it says, great for doing a small area. Quite useful for using indoors in conjunction with a dust extractor/vacuum.

  • worth the money, would recommend tis item.

Ideal for small accurate jobs, and getting into small restricted spaces it's ideal, but no good for channelling as it blunts quickly.

  • Does what is says on the tin

Excellent brick & plaster cutting blade. I’m using it for back-boxes and trunking which it’s advertised for and am very pleased.
