A must have companion to your soundbar!
This Sub is a must have to go with your Samsung soundbar in my opinion. Its wireless connectivity to my Samsung SoundBar MS750 and my Samsung TV was easy, well thought out, and seamless. Fail
I purchased the sub and at first thought it worked great. However, when I turned the volume to 35, the sub would cut out completely. I figured this was the cut off for distortion but Samsung assured me it would work up to the maximum volume of 100 distortion free, which I found was true as the sub would indeed kick back on once above 76 and play cleanly until 100. I would never have the volume above 40 honestly so the inability to have it at at a decent action movie volume is disappointing. Perfect
Honestly , the only bad thing about this is the high price and no control volume on the subwoofer. Then, if you think about it, some wireless subwoofers * that I've seen have no knobs as well. This is one massive bomber
Better sound than I expected, this sub-woofer is the best. It is really heavy and well built. I installed it about 15 feet from my soundbar and works just great. Getting it paired with the soundbar was a bit of a task, as the soundbar needs a dongle to communicate with the sub. I bought the soundbar separately and then found out I could add this sub-woofer. But I had to call and talk to Samsung to find out what was wrong when it wouldn't pair. That's when they told me about the dongle. If you have the same issue, call the Samsung parts department and they will hook you up. Good subwoofer if you can get it at $200.
At $200 this is good subwoofer, at the regular $400+ price it is not. You need to set your soundbar to +5 or +6(max) for this subwoofer for it to produce the sound to match the sound bar.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Amazing, controlled bass
This sub puts out some serious bass. Some folk might not know that the level of bass can be controlled through Samsung’s “MultiRoom” app. In the app, there is a separate bass level so you can balance your desired level of bass from very light to aggressively heavy any anywhere in between. The app also controls the soundbar & sub’s combined EQ, which is very helpful. I’ve found that I need two basic EQ settings - 1 setting for audio from a video source and 1 setting for audio from a music player source (like Spotify). The sound is noticeably enhanced with this loudspeaker. It puts the thunder in most movies - it seems integrated with the soundbar. I had some difficulty getting it connected - in the same area as when connecting the soundbar - underneath the soundbar in the area of connections; however, when checking the connections for electrical contact it seems the connections were not sufficient and after checking the subwoofer came on. This is the same as what happened when trying to get the soundbar connected. This subwoofer (700) is compatible only with Samsung and only with 3 models of soundbar - one of these is the soundbar I have (750).Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
