Best in Class!
For a home counter top water distiller, the Megahome MH943SBS is one of the best! It is easy to use, and if you plug it into a separate countdown outlet timer to shut off before the boiling chamber is completely empty, it will be easy to clean. If you do not use a timer, the circuit breaker will open, shutting the unit off after the chamber is bone dry, The dried input residue will be more difficult to clean. It is a bit larger than most coffee makers, but is not unattractive. Other than color, most units of this type look similar, but this model uses T-316 stainless steel for the boiling chamber and condensing tube for extreme corrosion resistance.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Love my water distiller!!
I couldn't be happier with a product. Now I don't have to run to the supermarket and lug gallons of water. This is a smart way to have clean and tasty water. I tested the water after I distilled it and it came out 100% chemical free. I can rest easy knowing my family can drink clean water. Distilled is my favorite water
I got a replacement one after 12 years of continual use even thought I could have likely continued to use the one I had, I just was not very good about cleaning it out, so the salts did start to oxidize some of the metal. The glass container is well made and durable, Each use can see the deposits left at the bottom for pure clean water. A really nice unit to make great water for cheap and looks sleek in any kitchen. Noise wise its about the use of a small fan, and shuts off reliably. really easy to use. The only thing the manufacturer could do to make it better is finding an easier way to remove the top, sometimes its kind of awkward to pry off. Nice to have an "endless" supply of distilled water to feed my humidifiers in winter.
This distiller easily keeps my two humidifiers supplied with nice clean water, saving time cleaning the humidifiers. I believe it would keep up with at least one more humidifier if needed. There is some cleaning to do, but it's much easier to clean than the humidifier when used with non-distilled water. I have also used some of the water for drinking and the taste is good. The glass collection bottle is nice if you're using the water for drinking, but the alternate model with plastic would be fine if only using for humidifiers, etc. In my experience the cost in power to distill water is about half or less than buying it bottled in the store. So far,I’m super happy with my Megahome distiller and glad I bought this product. I recommend that anyone who is serious about improving their health invest in a Megahome. It’s a lot cheaper than having medical expenses. The set up was easy, cleaning is easy and the product design is sound.

Best counter Water distiller ever

Well thought out design!
Looks nice in my kitchen and does it's job very nicely. I just think these are a little pricey still. I recommend this one because of it's ease of use, along with the more compact size for my space.
