Purchased I scooter X1000RS after using scooter from hire shop in Barcelona. The guy in Barcelona told me his ones where over €600. So I guessed that set the benchmark. However having purchased in the U.K. I noticed the main difference for better value where chain driven ones. MAF scooters seem to be very good value and seem to do the job. Faster albeit not as long rang as I guess being heavy plays a big part of that bit advertised at about 13 miles average and 25mph. On grass slower than tarmac obviously. When received all I had to do was fit the handle bars and seat and took 20 mins. Oh and put the fuse in for the battery (did spark which was a worry but seemed to work fine). I got straight on it and went off for a 2 miles run on the pavement and across a farm (off road). Very comfortable and says recharging only takes 3 hours. Seems good so far and see if lasts. The best thing ever
This scooter is the best thing I've ever spent money on. It's good value for money and has paid for it self in fun I've been using it for a year now and it's the first thing I pick over my motorbikes to have fun on because it's silent. The range is good for the battery's provided but if your looking for a real long distance scoot you will have to upgrade the battery's to 15 ah I did and it now gets 25-30% more range other than that there has been no problems other than some bolts coming lose but you should check everything before each use.
