JRT proof?
Not quite -but more durable than other rubber toys, especially ones with a squeak. Ed-the-shred is normally able to silence a sqeaker within minutes -if not seconds, but these chuckit balls seem to be more robust than most. The medium sized ones are ever so slightly smaller than a standard tennis ball and therefore easier for him to catch and more significantly, release. His jaws sometimes lock round a tennis ball and he finds it difficult to spit one out. I would worry about him choking on one of the smaller chuckit balls though. A bit mixed
I wanted a thrower for my rucksack.. perfect for that. Problem is though it is a bit slippy to hold and needs better grip and also it’s so ridged it’s hard to get it to go far! I have used these balls for years (the non-squeaky ones) and they are excellent. I have a dog that destroys balls in minutes and they are extremely durable. The balls are fun to throw as they bounce well. The squeak only lasted the first day which was disappointing. As soon as the ball got wet it stopped squeaking, which is why I bought them as my dog responds well to the noise. A good dog ball which managed to keep its squeak for almost an afternoon. This is good going as it was up against a Staffie with strong jaws. The dead squeak stayed within the ball, so no danger of ingestion. The outer shell remains intact, despite all the dogs' efforts.
