Looks pretty.
I was quite excited to receive this item, I had bought it to replace my speaker that would no longer charge, I thought as well as Bluetooth, I get the extra Dab radio and a cool looking piece of kit, good to take in the camper van, camping. I read the instructions and started to search for the Dab stations, I was extremely disappointed I could only get 3.... However, Jazz, chillout and kids fun stations play some good tunes and the sound quality is good (only good), but then if tuning into the normal radio, its not bad either so can't see the benefit of Dab !! Been to a few parts of the country but still can only get the 3 channels... This runs on electric but also has the option of batteries. Batteries are good for camping, but even expensive batteries they don't last very long, not even a day, so I really miss my chargeable tin can speaker that gave me far more hours of music & charged up so quickly. I also note that it can often bleep out (doesn't run smooth on the Dab) and on the Bluetooth it can stop for no reason, looses signal so you have to re-connect. Another note is the Arial, I would not recommend to move the item often so not good for camping as if knocked the Arial breaks, I have mine on half mast now and it still works, so I wonder is the Arial actually required ? It does get in the way if out. As I say its a nice looking thing, but that's about it, I will buy another little speaker for £10 to play my itunes on, I don't believe the retro mini is worth the money, for me anyway. nice little radio
This radio is lovely looking, has a good sound quality and I do like it, but I found the setting up very complicated and despite having the booklet to refer to, ended up having to ring the makers to get them to help me. Good sound quality
