Good uses bullet type bulbs.
This tester is an incandescent bullet type bulb and is robustly built. It is not indestructible however and the ground lead is not very long. For quick diagnosis of fuses under the hood or to see the child signal test it works well. By testing a ht Coul signal wire you can see the light flicker on every ignition event digital or led probes can not test this. This also works for checking a fuel pump, you can find out if you have a bad ground or high voltage drop as light will light across a bad ground.
