Easy to use, good quality materials
This attachment is made of durable plastic and comes with rubber gaskets and everything you need to easily convert your Summer Escapes Skimmer pool pump to a skimmer attached to the pump of your choice, no tools required. All you have to do is remove the old pump and put the adapter in it's place so you can hook up a hose to it. Then you attach the hose to the intake valve on your pump and you are done. The reason someone might want to do this is because the pump that comes with the Summer Escapes Skimmer is not very strong and efficient and often burns out early. If you have a large pool you will want to use a more efficient filter pump, perhaps even a sand filter or salt chlorinating unit. This adapter helps you to convert the skimmer pump to a regular skimmer and by using a stronger external pump you will greatly improve the skimmer's function.
