Wow- Simply Amazing! So good that after 20 years online I am writing my first ever review to help others...
I have used many multi-tools over the years, including the well known Dremel brand. I have also had the misfortune of using some pretty terrible iterations, and I swore I would never buy anything other than a Dremel in the future, cheap tools usually just have no torque and stall all of the time! However whilst looking to purchase a new tool I cam across this, I was really skeptical about how good it could be when it's total price delivered with all of the additional accessories cost less that the flexidrive alone from Dremel! In the end despite telling myself I would never buy another multi-tool that was not a Dremel, I thought I would take a chance. Wow am I glad that I did - The unit looks to be really good quality, even the packaging it arrives in looks good, there are little subtle things that make all the difference - a 'rubberised' feel, a small Velcro loop on the cable to wrap away, all nicely printed up, a very pleasant surprise :) and the unit itself is so powerful! It has been used several times already and combined with the stand it is a great tool. Not only is this in another league to other cheap multi-tools, but in my opinion it is better than the market leader too! How it is produced and sold this cheaply at a profit is beyond me. I think Ferm is also quite an old brand (Over 50 years!) so it does have some heritage too. The Dremel I almost purchased was five times the cost of this (£100) and I don't see how it would have been any better. Trust me on this one, if you are considering this or a Dremel get this - You simply will not be disappointed! I think someone has left a review saying it is a little unruly and not accurate, but this is in comparison to medical dental drills! I mean, come-on what do you expect for £20 delivered, why even compare it against thousands of pounds worth of equipment. For the ordinary user not extracting teeth this will be absolutely more than adequate, better than that you can take yourself out for a diner or two on the money you didn't throw way on a Dremel.
