Very Good Wood Protection
This is an excellent wood protection product for a summerhouse which, being (white) spirit based, has more body than other water based products. As such it's easier to apply - doesn't drip off the brush so easily like water based products. Two coats give good water protection which forms as globules on the surface when wetted. Will be giving a third coat later in the summer. The clear version of the product has given the natural coloured wood a deeper attractive finish.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Happy With This Product. Delivery Service Excellent
Always used spirit based in the wood protection on my bare wood summer house. Disappointingly the product I had always used is is now water base. Using last year without checking was a huge mistake on my part. over the winter the wood started to turn black. Used Barrettine the wood has now lightened and the water runs off during showers and heavy rain.
