Not comfortable
Disappointed in the steelcase gesture. Im in IT and seated for 7-10 hrs per day. Since I’d be working at home for the next 6+ months I decided to purchase what I thought would be a comfortable chair to replace my 20+ year old used office chair (also expensive and high quality). Unfortunately the steelcase has proven less comfortable than the chair it replaced. My back and hips are usually sore at the end of the day now. I’m 250 lbs and 5’8”. Definitely on the heavier side, but comfortably below the weight limit for this chair. With that said, it does seem to be a high quality build, and the arm adjustments are great. Just make sure you sit in one of these for a bit before pulling the trigger on an expensive chair.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Pricey but potentially worth it
Bought this since I've been working from home this year and sitting on the couch all the time was giving me back problems. I used a Herman Miller Aeron at work, and it didn't really work for me. This chair is a lot more adjustable, and reclines in a way that's more comfortable for me.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
