Alienware M17 R2... Old, but good as gold!
This M17 R2 is almost like new with no scratches or sign of wear. Appears to have been used very little... Positive: -Fast n Smooth Gaming, even for a 9 year old Gaming PC -Excellent sound and graphics frame-rates* (after replacing RAM) -Comfortable and well lighted full keyboard & number pad -Super fast boot-up, under 30 sec with the 120GB SSD Negative: -Heavy... apx 9 lbs. -Short battery life (I've ordered new one) -*Only had 2 x 2GB NAYAN Memory modules... Caused lots of serious instability and BlueScreen issues. This PC originally came with a minimum of 8GB of RAM for a reason. It requires a minimum of 8GB. I upgraded to 2 x 4GB of Corsair DDR3 1600. Runs very well even under heavy Gaming load. On a heavy Gaming load like Call of Duty Advanced Warfare I'd give it a solid 8 out of 10. Massive solid beast of a laptop!
At 12 lbs it is hardly a portable laptop, but as a desktop replacement it is very good. It is powerful, even though it is an older model now, it still can compete with an beat current PC's and Laptops. I love the lights, the powerful processor and GPU. I upgraded it to windows 10 and it seems to be working well so far. This is not for everyone, but I like the looks, the ability to easily modify/upgrade it, 2 hard drive bays and the performance.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
