Best baby monitor
While this isn't a perfect product, it is the best baby monitor you can buy. I'll list the negatives and positives: NEGATIVES: - the range isn't amazing. We live in a medium-sized house and there are spots where the parent unit loses connection. However, these spots are consistent so we know what areas to avoid. - the night picture is slightly grainy. - the temperature isn't completely accurate so you'll need to calibrate the monitor using another thermometer first. POSITIVES - the pan and tilt function is brilliant and means we can check in on our baby wherever he wriggles to in his cot; - the lullabies are excellent quality and there is a big range. Our little one falls asleep to them every night. You can also adjust the volume in the baby's room from the parent unit; - the star show is wonderful and gets our little one to resettle if he wakes too early or calms him at night; - the cry alert is a great function, which means I can put the monitor on silent and don't get woken by every whinge or wriggle but will be woken if my baby properly cries; - you can link up multiple baby units to one parent unit which means you're not lugging around two/ more units wherever you go; - the nightlight is a lovely, soft yellow light rather than the harsher lights some other units have, so it won't keep your baby awake or startle them awake if you need to use it at night; - you can turn the screen off while keeping the volume on which preserves the battery and means you aren't tempted to just stare at the screen! - you can talk to your baby through the parent unit. A great function if you have a baby receptive to that kind of reassurance (ours isn't). - great battery life (7 hours if screen mostly off). Not the best buy.
