Great addition to reef tank
I've always used Mexican turbos and Astreas for my clean up crew. Never again. So glad I found these Ceriths. They're small but voracious! Best part is they can right themselves when they get knocked over. Got 100 of these for the price of 10 turbos. Turbos don't like the rocks either. I ordered my snails on a weekend, they shipped on Monday cross country to Oregon, &got here at 10am. I opened the box (scared me cause it was so light) and there was a list of instruction. I followed them with a slight deviation... I opened the bag and gave it a whiff..(stinky but not deathy) Put the snails in a glass- added a cup of tank water, strained the poo out.. Put a new cup of water in and waited 15 minutes, they are all on the sides by now! Finished acclimating. Every snail was 1/2" or larger GREAT JOB FOLKS! All of my snails, all 100 came in DOA. I messaged them about being shipped with no water. That message they got back to me with. The other 3 or 4 messages and picture about the snails being DOA was never resolved or even a message back. Snails arrived a couple days ahead schedule. Was given 10% extra snails to offset mortality rate but they all are very active and healthy. They also came more matured than expected so they were bigger.Verified purchase: Yes
