Product Information
The Forte Specialist Vehicle Diesel Injector Cleaner functions by removing internal diesel injector deposits that build up over time. By removing these deposits, lost power and acceleration is restored. In doing so it will also improve fuel economy, lower emissions from the exhaust and provide easier cold starting and better quality ignition. Seems to work when others didn't
2008 X type Jaguar kept going into limp mode every few days. After adding a bottle of this to the tank it has been fine. I added a second bottle after about 2 months just to be sure and have just ordered a third to keep in the boot just in case. It may not be cheap, but at the side of new injectors its a bargain. Really does work!
Many similar products are dismissed by 'experts' as 'snake oil', but this Forté injector cleaner worked really well in sorting out a rough running problem on our car. The cleaner was added directly into the fuel filter with a squirt of light mineral oil, engine run for a couple of minutes, then left overnight. The result was a much smoother idle, and a general improvement in driveability. With the high cost of most diesel injection components, £15 spent seems like a good preliminary step before trying anything more drastic. It won't work in every case, but it certainly did for us. Great product.
Best product to use as recommended by most mechanics. I went against instructions, and put it direct into the fuel filter chamber. Engine management light went off, after took it for a redline up 75mph in 4th gear for 10mins on motorway. Car runs better. Diesel fuel in tank additive
I have a Mazda cx5 Diesel. The engine was regenerating at approximately every 70 miles . I added Forte DPF treatment to a full tank and used the car as normal the cx5 only does active regens it will not regen without adding extra fuel to raise the DPF temperature. Quality stuff
Cleaned up a smoky M47R MG ZT / Rover 75 diesel engine beautifully. Changed the fuel filter, tipped the contents of the bottle in the new filter ran the engine for 30 seconds then let it stand overnight.
