Not too fiddly to put together-mostly bolts for the sides with a screw nuts to secure-small screws for hinges-had some help with mine mostly just to hold sides while securing, it took us 2 hours all done. Well pleased with result. I had a previous coop which took a long time to work out-but this one was worth paying the extra for better wood and fitting together. I like the bolted door feature with ramp as my last one had a sliding door which stuck in wet weather as the wood would swell and the ramp kept coming undone-but this seems a better design and altogether more sturdy.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Worst thing i have bought in ages, after a week the wood split now my chickens are paddling in water, not good quality.
If you want to use this as your main coop i would avoid, to expensive for me to return, due to where i live and nowhere else to house my chooks until i have a proper one built. Wood split after a week and now the rain is pouring in from the roof so not water tight either....very disappointed as it looks lovely but not suitable for purpose. oh and i paid a joiner to build it so it was put together properly.

over priced for the money. quality , rated at 2 out of 5
poor quality shows everywhere with this large hen house , first it is not large. the wood used is of a poor quality, the wood is very dry, and very light, probably more to do with saving money on post, left out side to the element's, will not last long. don t expect a lot for your £300.00 real value aprox £150.00 i would manly rate this poor hen house on quality. 2 out of 5.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great chicken hut.
This hut is great, we have 12 medium size birds and there is plenty of space for them all without crowding. The 2 nest boxes are a bonus so no squabbling. The 2 long perches across the width of hut are great. The pull out floor tray is a good idea for ease of cleaning. Simple and Easy
Needed a coop big enough for 3 RIR hens which when fully grown are classed as a large hen. This coop is big enough for 8 hens so is big enough for our hens. The coop was easily erected by two of us and sturdy enough but can be lifted around if needed to be rearranged in the hen run.
