First 2 photo's the one's sent to me, Second 2 what I ordered which is as the photo on suppliers Web Site
I ordered these Wheelie Bin Hinge Pin from 2 different sources both initially sent the wrong type & not at all like the product picture. However, I contacted the second supplier & sent them photo's of the parts supplied. They then sent free of charge the correct type with no problem.

I should have checked the bin make
Unfortunately although the pin fits the bin our bins need a pin with a 34-35 mm head otherwise the lid can still fall off . I have found out that our bins are of the Otto typeVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

Does the Trick
These hinge pins do the trick on my bin (Otto 240 litre). They don't fit exactly but are the only ones I've found which stay in (more or less) and work. You have to remember to just push them back in every now and again (and hope the bin men aren't too rough!) and they are fine. I find the 2 usually last me about 18 months and I would much rather pay a few quid every couple of years that fork out for a new bin (which I'm not even sure my council would take if it's not the official one).

Does the job

Specific hinge pin
This was as easy to fit as putting a round peg in a round hole. It was a perfect fit and entirely suitable for the job. It is very important to make sure of the measurements before ordering any hinge pin as there seem to be many different styles and dimensions out there. This was for a green recycling bin supplied by Lambeth who stupidly would only supply me with a whole new bin and refused to supply just this tiny (and very commonly missing) part. Excellent product for the correct wheelie bin.
Check with your bin before ordering. I did but it was still a little on the narrow side. I wrapped some tape around it so that it was slightly proud and hammered it into the slot in the handle. I think that my bin is an older version of wheelie bin and these were the closest measurements that I could find online.
