This electric log splitter is able to take a maximum weight of 5 tonnes and has a back stop for added safety. Powered by a 2200-watt motor, the logs are split from both ends. It can split logs as long as 520 mm and 250 mm wide. Working at 7200 psi, it can split up to 100 logs an hour. It is fully weather protected so can be used outside all year.Product Identifiers

does what it says on the packet

Powerful
On the plus side. I am impressed with the log splitter, it easily splits the majority of logs that are put in it, if the log has lots of knots it sometimes does not split, however when the log is turned around (re-positioned) it powers its way through it. On the minus side. The instructions are not clear in English, particularly with regards the bleeder screw (the screw needs to be open during the operation of the machine ) this is not made clear in the instructions. Log splitter
You can buy these anywhere in the u.k but not for this price but there are two issues with this item firstly the manual is very poor for the English market as this item came from Germany I had send a message to get an answer concerning the vent plug should it be open or closed ( very important) it should be open when used and closed when finished. Secondly I would have preferred to have bought it in the u.k just in case things went wrong under the warranty probably I may of had to send it back to Germany ( who would pay the postage) anyway apart from that good product so far and takes the strain out of your arms for splitting wood.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Hydraulic log splitter
Product does better splitting job than expected from domestic splitter. Down side, the plastic lifting handle broke during first use, not detrimental to performance of machine just shame poor quality plastic let it down. This is a cracking piece of kit, easy to set up and a piece of cake to use. I have used other more expensive log splitters and this is their equal but much better value. This is a realy good tool to have if you do a lot of log splitting
I did have a 5 toner but it get water in to the motor and when I started it blew up. This Eberth 7 toner was my best choice and I have not looked back rely fast. I modified the pump handle a bit to use one hand on the start button and the other to steady the log. Now happy Bunny.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great log splitter
Its early days yet , but I am sure it will be fine ,I've put a few logs through it ,I thought it was butter not wood ,one little thing the logs need to be cut square or they jump out ,apart from that I think its a brilliant bit of kit !!!
