Philippa Gregory writes in such a way that your imagination is awoken. I lose myself in her books, even though they are novels they are factually correct, in her dates and events of the sovereigns of Europe I've learned so much about our Kings and Queens and the Lords and Ladies of the great palaces of England, France, Spain and Holland.
