Awesome scanner it works great with Mercedes Benz automobiles, it has every model loaded. If you want to save some money and you are DYIer this scanner is for you. Had a problem with my ABS/ESP system and was able to fix the problem with $133.00 for the part needed, the scanner told me exactly what to buy. GLK350 Airbag reset
I needed to change out the seat cover on my GLK350. I removed the seat from the car not realizing that I did not have to do that in order to get the bottom cushion out and triggered the airbag malfunction on my dash. I purchased this iCarsoft I980 reader and cleared the dash light within a minute. After using my new OBD-II scanner, I noticed it did the exact same thing my mechanic's reader did, except, my mechanic paid over $1000.00 for his. I was so overwhelmed all the systems that the code reader scanned through and found the exact thing that was causing the check engine light...A LOOSE gas cap. My wife and her friend last filled the car up and the gas cap was not properly screwed back on, causing a lack of pressure and hence making the check engine light come on. After the gas cap was on securely, the check engine light stayed on until I cleared the code with the scanner.
