Runs smooth as silk.
After reading negative reviews on Amazon about this grinder I was very hesitant about buying one, but being a Dewalt fan I went ahead with the purchase anyway. There were numerous complaints that even with the grinder bolted down it shook and vibrated very badly. The complaints were apparently all resolved by replacing the wheels. My grinder straight out of the box and sitting unsecured on the kitchen floor ran perfectly smooth. Not a single issue was noted with how it ran. The only complaint I have is the paint had a couple of flaws. But for what it is I really don't care about that.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Disappointed! Not a good representation of company history!
This item was manufactured by a company with a stellar reputation for their highest quality and value of the tools they sell. However, this product is not what I would consider to be one of their better efforts! It does seem to be very durable, but the quality control is not what I have come to expect from DeWalt! My old bench grinder came up to full speed within 1.5 seconds, and this one takes about 3 times longer. It also vibrates and shakes badly for the price I paid.
