A lightweight set of over-the-head headphones, these black Panasonic headphones are a cost effective, entry-level purchase. In a retro style, the Panasonic RP-HTX7 has a vintage appearance, coupled with modern technology. With a 4-foot (1.22-m) cable offering ease of movement, the leather headband of the Panasonic headphones is perforated and the ear cups are padded for the user’s comfort and connected to piano wire sliders that can be easily and quickly adjusted. With a neodymium magnet and 40 mm, large-diameter units, the headphones give out crystal clear highs, present mids, and strong low-end sounds. Built in a sturdy construction designed to last, the headphones have a tough dome housing that can easily cope with outdoor uses. The over-the-head headphones have the gold-plated connector that ensures increased conductivity and is corrosion resistance. Perfect! These are my second pair...as a back up!
I am a sound designer and music composer and I rate these headphones very highly! I've been using them on my HTC One (m7) and OnePlus 5 - nothing beats them with my ears!!! Great depth (impedance), great range and high in clarity. Cancels out about 80% of noise being heard. If you were to sit in a silence zone on a train, the person sitting next to you may still ask you to decrease the volume slightly...only slightly though! This only happened on one occasion after having the headphones for at least 5 years! At first you might hear them to be a little bassier or even tinnier than what you're used to, I felt the same, (that's just your ears adjusting) but I got used to it, and now I won't change to a different pair :)Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Not impressed
I was disappointed with the sound quality of these headphones, the bass was good but the top end appeared flat, certainly not up to the standard of my old Panasonic RP-HTF350 headphones and yet the frequency range was almost identical. The ear cups cancelled the sound, but were quite small and sat on the ears instead of over the ears making the ears warm after a short period of time. You certainly could not forget you were wearing these headphones as they felt as if they were clamping to the head instead of fitting over the head. I did not realise how difficult it is to buy replacement headphones, I would gladly buy another pair of my previous headphones, but alas no longer available.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
