Very comfortable and great sounding headphones with good isolation, but if you can, get the 600 ohm version (new or old) they sound just perfect, the 250 ohm has scooped mids (still decent though) Also make sure you use genuine Beyerdynamic pads as they sound completely different if the cheap ones are used, you may as well not have these headphones if you fit them. Balanced sound.
Using these phones for live recording gives a very good indication as to what the sound is going to be like when finally monitoring on a good speaker system. From the very low frequencies to the very high they sound balanced and individual sounds are clean and clear so any distortion is easily noticed. They are very comfortable to wear for a long period with a reasonable level of isolation for external noise making them good for detecting unwanted sounds in the mix. DT770pro 250 ohm
Not had too much time to test fully but more comfy than DT100/150’s. Maybe less bass with these but the overall sound is nice and sharp. Bought second hand curly cord was not as it was but was able to retwist it along its length and now back to normal. Fitted new pads would recommend and would buy again. Quickly Fitting and Fantastic sound with proper setup to power
Amazing sound for the price when working with my Sound BlasterX AE5 with a tight at first but quickly fitting feel which is suited for hours of use. The only time I remember I have them on is when someone talks to me or when i bump the cable. Beyerdynamic DT770 Pro 250Ohm Headphones
Bought these headphones after reading reviews about how good and comfortable they were, they have some good points and some bad ones. They are very comfortable to wear for long periods but I found them a bit on the heavy side, great for indoor use but did not like them much while out to bulky, (personal choice) Then the sound, it's a good quality sound but you do need a decent headphone amp to drive these headphones otherwise the sound is on the quiet side, I did also find the sound a bit thin and needed a bit of a bass boost to get a decent sound but that might be my personal choice also. The coiled lead that came on these phones hangs very heavy and can be a bit of a pain when using, I think I should have gone for the straight cord version. On the plus side you can seem to get all the parts required to repair these phones, ear pads cables headband cover slider kit etc so overall gave it 4 starsVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

All pro and no show!
I also own the dt 990 pro 250 ohm model. the sound quality from the 770s is easily on a par with those. you only lose out on the soundstage as these are closed back rather than open back of the 990s. For studio monitors they are so musical and the rhythm and timing are spot on. I know there are as good sounding sets as these out there as these. I've heard them. But I've never come across any that are built this well too. These are professional studio headphones in every sense. They sound as good as their competitors. They last twice (or thrice) as long, and their specs are matchable against others in their line. (closed, open, half closed and various impedance specs) I have a pair of the DT1990; the open back Tesla tech version. I needed a pair of closed that would compare predictably.
