The Bose 131 main speakers are a pair of marine stereo speakers. These Bose speakers contain one 4.5-inch polymer fiber composite woofer with a silicon-coated woofer surround. The RMS power range on the Bose 131 main speakers is between 10 watts and 40 watts and the peak power handling is 80 watts. In addition, the impedance on these speakers is 4 Ohms. The top mount depth needed for these Bose speakers is 3.5 inches and the bottom mount depth is also 3.5 inches. The cutout diameter needed to install these stereo speakers is 5.4 inches if the speaker can be mounted from behind the hole. If the speaker cannot be mounted this way then the cutout diameter needs to be 7.3 inches. These Bose speakers contain a magnet so they need to be placed at least three feet from the boat's compass in order to avoid affecting it.
