The Yamaha home cinema combines a front speaker and a subwoofer to provide surround sound for the home theatre experience. The Yamaha YHT-S401 works with HD media and the Clear Voice feature helps dialog to be clearer above the sound track. The front speaker of the Yamaha home cinema is a sound bar that has three speakers in it, two circle speakers on either end with a centre oval speaker. It can also be mounted on the wall. The subwoofer of the 7.1-channel home cinema system is also an FM receiver. It also allows the user to connect USB devices to the system. The Yamaha home cinema has six surround modes to allow for the best quality playback of different audio types. The Yamaha YHT-S401 sound bar measures 800 mm wide by 79 to 100 mm high by 79.5 mm deep. The subwoofer measures 435 mm wide by 135 mm high by 361 mm deep. The 7.1-channel home cinema system is compatible with several Dolby audio formats.
