Excellent if you know how to fix them
If you buy this new than you have one of the best cd players made by pioneer.Too bad pioneer stop making this type of cdjs. From my personal experience and using pioneer items ,i must say this are very easy to use .They are simple , sound really clean , and allow you to mix music in all its glory. They offer mp3 capabilities and of coarse wav .They have a clean interface , a nice smooth pitch range with a locked master tempo , to keep the same key locked in as you mix to the next track. The cdj 200 even plays a very damaged cd , it amazing to see it read a scratched up cd , yet play the music very efficiently. If it was denon i would not play the cd because its sensitive , however denon has equal sound output to pioneer,so in terms of audio fidelity ,they are equal , except that pioneer seems to play even very scratced up cds in most situations.
I know because ive tested my denon Dn- s3500 to this cdj 200.A real dj or mixing expert can appreciate this cdjs 200 .Even my cdj 400 comes below the cdj 200 , in terms of just mixing clean.Despite cdj 400 being more lose in using different media, like usb capabilities , computer ect..SO in short get a cdj 200 and see for yourself how clean they sound and how good in mixing they make you sound.
