Compact player performs well
I buy Sony because it is a good brand. This Sony DVD player has already given a lot of pleasure; it's easy to use and technically sound in that the visual and audio quality are fine. It runs smoothly from start to finish; you can pause it for as long as you like, watch something on the tv if you wish, and when you continue, it's still at the same place. SR760H Player Review
This Sony DVD player is a replacement for a Sony unit purchased 15 months ago and performs well, at the moment. As previous, the power on light is too small and hard to see. The previous Sony SR760H unit failed thro' over heating of the main IC chip, which caused erratic running when disc played. Why not get it repaired ? Cheaper to buy new. So why have we replace it with the same unit ? We are hoping that the failure is a one off and at the competitive price, still considered to give better performance than other manufacturers.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Very good player at a bargain price.
I bought this to replace my very large ancient Panasonic player. I had expected some decline in performance from the small Sony but that was not the case. The images are really very good.
