The LCD monitor helps you check the status and select the mode your camera is in for recording purposes. The mode you select depends on the desired recording exposure you want for your picture and the clarity of your picture.Selecting the mode you want is easy with this digital camera. Just choose the mode by touching the mode button. You can select full HD or HDMI in the auto mode to automatically adjust to your desired picture or video. Adjust the zoom mode by using the display on the ZS19 and selecting the zoom lens that best enhances your recording picture. The optical image stabilizer produces blur-free images and videos when shooting fast-moving objects in the zoom mode.The Panasonic DMC-ZS19 is compatible with SD, SDHC, or SDXC memory cards. DMC-zs19
I lost my prior DMC-zs20 and had previously used a DMC-zs19. I purchased this camera as the size is convenient and the picture quality outstanding for the price point. I needed a camera that took pictures quickly for my work and so while there are updated options available, this was my choice for a solid performing item. Overall the Lumix is a very good camera, but my Iphone is better.
Settings and tools are not intuitive and you may need the manual. It's a good size and the image quality is generally sharp and very good, but the processor picks up too much contrast and has to be tweaked in Photoshop. Repair service you can trust
This is a review of a "Repair Service". Gerald did an excellent job repairing my broken Panasonic ZS-19 camera. Repairs were done quickly and for way less money than sending it to Panasonic's repair center. Panasonic will repair the camera for about twice the price or more (they don't guarantee to fix it for the quoted price). Gerald does it for a fixed price. Of course with Panasonic you will get new parts, whereas Gerald uses used parts in good working condition, and sometimes better than original Panasonic parts. There was also excellent follow-up by email explaining what was done and answering any questions and concerns. I would definitely send future repairs to Gerald without hesitation. P.S.
