Very good monitor earphones. Excellent audio quality.

I owned both shure SE215 and SE425 earphones. After trying out both, I would conclude that it is better to save the money from SE215 and get the SE425. The main difference is the SE425 has more solid audio quality. The frequency is more equally distributed compare to the 215. I am able to hear more "sound" with the 425, it is more clear. In term of bass, it is ok, but it is not a heavy bass earphones. It takes some times to get use to wearing it and fitting it on my ears. But after that, comfort is not a issue.

    Shure SE425CL

i really over expect the quality of sound from this shure se425CL, im really disappointed with the sound quality the mid highs anre not clear and distorted and you can hardly hear the lows... if you have a monster urbeats headphones witch the price is 5 times lower than the price of this shure 425CL try to compare it and hear for yourself the htc urbeats earphones is so much clearer and has a quality of lows u cant imagine it has for the price you did not expect... to the designers of shure, very bad design quality, im really disappointed with the performance, with this exorbitant price its not worth it to buy this shure 425CL headphones, i regret it. sorry but , try it for yourself to see the difference...

  • Amazing...

If you can find these for the right price, don’t hesitate. they are amazing. the noice cancellation is the best i’ve heard for in ears... the only knock is that the bass is a little lacking. all notes are clear and crisp, with brilliant highs and mids. the bass is great as well... i would simply liken the experience to a great speaker with amazing sound quality, but no subwoofer. the bass just doesn’t *hit* you. would still recommend without a doubt... 9.5/10

  • Great product!

A fantastic upgrade from my SE215's. The dual drivers are really clean and frequencies well dispersed. These iem's are lightweight and a comfortable yet tight fit; meaning they serve to minimize fatigue while also providing a fair amount of physical isolation. I play mostly solo acoustic/electric guitar and vocal gigs at local bars/restaurants and these help me avoid excessive volumes for both the audience and myself while also reducing load in and set up time.

  • True Sound

I am a sound engineer/musician. These are my first pair of IEM and I love them. When I opened them up, I plugged them up to my laptop and played a few tunes from my iTunes library and was not impressed. But when I got to the gig and plugged these babies into the console they lit up like magic. I soloed the bass , kick and keys to a mix and wow! They are very clean. The bass isn't as low as some consumer models , but they can handle a lot more volume and overall frequencies. The fit takes some getting use to. The monitors come with 4 or 5 pairs of foam and rubber tips. I settled on the small foam pair. I roll the tips between my fingers before I put them in and they expand to fit my ears perfectly. After a few minutes they don't even feel like they are in. The only problem (good problem) is they block out any outside sound. I look forward to using them when playing my saxophone.

  • Really good earbuds

After playing in bands for a few years and getting tired of the stage noise I started using Bose QC15s on stage. The problem is: when the drummer hits his snare real hard, or kicks the bass drum with all he has, the noise canceling system tops out and the headset would quit for about 1s. Really annoying when you're trying to hear what you're playing. So I then switched to regular earbuds and just wore the Bose to keep the noise out. Worked OK, but the $20 ear buds lacked the clarity. So I finally decided to spend some money and get these. They are amazing. The sound is crisp, great low and high end. Relatively light and you can quickly get used to wearing them. I got the triple flange pieces to replace the memory foam. Both keep the noise out, but the rubber piece can be cleaned. Last but not least: these are better than QC15s because now I'm not wearing this big headset that looks kinda weird on stage. Very happy with the purchase.
