Great performance even til this day
The UE TF10s are still amazing IEMs even though they have been discontinued (such a sad reality). It has amazing punchy mid bass with good sub bass that is able to extend deeply. The bass is controlled and detailed. Mids are amazing on these things. Vocals sounds pretty luscious and great. The highs are bright but not too bright and doesn't hurt my ears. There is a pretty big soundstage and good sound separation. These IEMs have amazing fidelity, resolution, and detail. Forgot how amazing these are!Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Ultimate Ears TripleFi 10 monitors
First and formost realize that I am a drummer an I planed on using them as my in ear monitors for live peformances. That bein said I could not get a satisfactory bass reproduction no matter what type of ear pads id could buy. Nothing worked! I could not keep time withe the bass line no matter haw simple the song. Better off with nothing at all but the I compromise my hearing. What to do? I tryed some newer Ultimate Ear monitors at NAMM winter of 2016. They were the UE 11 Pro's. The fit well even with off the shelf ear pads. Not even the foam! These are designed for custom made to fit your ear molds and the drivers reproduced a clean punchy bass. The problem is...the retail for $1150. For now I'll stay with the floor monitors brcause in reality an amp with two JBL or EAW monitors still do the job. Sorry it's two thumbs down for these in ear monitors. If you want something for the gym or ocassional listening you ca do better at a an easier to swallow price point. Great sound, lousy quality cord.
The cord is not of the same quality as the earbuds. It is a stiff, short, plastic cord that is similar to what you would find in a set of 10 dollar gas station earbuds. My last set of UE earbuds had a nice, long braided cord which was a pleasure to use. For almost $300, the cord should be of a higher quality.
