Didn't work as expected
I bought this adaptor to plug into my TVs SCART socket and output the sound to an external sound bar. The sound bar worked but it didn't play the sound for the channel i was watching. I was watching a film from my Sky box on HDMI1 and this adaptor output the sound for an advert on ITV. I now understand that adaptors using a SCART socket need to be wired in a specific way to produce the expected results, so perhaps this might be the reason why it didn't work correctly. Produces terrible image through SCART compared to straight composite on my telly or RGB->Scart from the same console. Same with SVideo. Useless.
